We treat your personal data confidentially and within the Hanna’s Nurseries business. We do not share your data with any other organisations.

 

Where do we store and process personal data?

The data that we keep will be held internally within the Hanna’s Nurseries business, only essential staff to deliver our services will have access to any of your data and only limited essential information will be available.

 

How do we secure personal data?

 

We use a secure website to process your personal details through customer orders. This data is held internally to Hanna’s Nursery with security software on our computers. Orders with customer data are only printed for the purpose of our delivery service. Once delivered paperwork is returned to the office at Hanna’s Nursery where it is disposed of confidentially. Computer records of order will be help for accounting purposes.

 

How long do we keep your personal data for?

 

Our storage of personal data is compliant with Article 5(d) of GDPR which requires that personal data is erased without delay when no longer required. Effective management of records from when they are created, how they are stored and used, through to their disposal or archive is in place.

For accounting purposes records are held for 7 years.

When data is no longer required paper files will be shredded and disposed of securely.

 

Your rights in relation to personal data

  • You have the right to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed, and access to your personal data;

In certain circumstances it may not be possible to make changes, for example in order to fulfil a customer order personal details and payment details are required otherwise we cannot provide the service.
