About Us
Hanna’s Nurseries is a family run Grower based in Larne, Northern Ireland. In 1898 Derek Hanna’s Grandfather grew Tomatoes and Grapes in his Greenhouse on The Roddens, Larne.
In 1958 the greenhouse was moved to Hanna’s Road where Derek began his own enterprises growing Lettuce and Tomatoes. He then moved onto cut flowers supplying local shops in the Larne area. The business now primarily supplies Councils and Wholesalers with Bedding and Basket Plants.

Covid-19
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak and subsequent National lockdown we have responded by offering a delivery service to your home in order to keep staff and customers safe. As we usually supply wholesalers directly, we are able to offer multiples of plants at great prices.
We hope you find some refuge in your gardens at this difficult time and take pride as we do in great quality plants.
Orders
Orders will now be taken via our new website only, so please browse our page and add what you like to your trolley. We have tried to make the order process as simple as possible and allow you to see all our beautiful plants grown right here in County Antrim.
Deliveries
All orders must meet the minimum £35 spend.
We offer free delivery to addresses within a 10 mile radius of Hanna’s Nurseries.
If you wish to order from further afield*, we will apply a delivery charge at checkout as follows;
- deliveries 10-15 miles, £5.00
- deliveries 15-25 miles, £8.50
- deliveries 25-50 miles, £10.00
- deliveries 50-100 miles, £10.00 (+30p/mile)
Free Delivery;
- Orders over £35 (0-10 miles from Hanna's Nurseries)
- Orders over £100 (10-50 miles from Hanna's Nurseries)
- Orders over £150 (50-100 miles from Hanna's Nurseries)
Deliveries will generally be with you within 3 working days of completing your transaction. At busy times we may only deliver to the furthest locations one day per week but we will contact you to let you know.
Please allow our delivery drivers to unload your plants while you keep a safe distance to respect the social distancing guidelines and keep everyone safe.
Click and Collect
Orders of £10 or more can be paid online and collected at the nursery for free. We are not open to the public so please only come to the Nursery if you have pre-paid for your order. We are located on Hanna’s Road, Larne BT40 2SZ.
On arrival at the Nursery please park at the allocated zone near the entrance and we will bring your order to your vehicle.
